Position:               Superintendent (Pipe-laying)
Reports to:           Offshore Installation Manager
Location:              Offshore - Black Sea (Russian Federation)
Rotation:              56 days “on” / 28 days “off”
Working Hours:     12 hours  / day
Daily Rate:           To be advised
Other Details:       Accommodation, Travel, Insurance and Medical provided by the client
Start Date:           End February - Beginning of March 2010
            

JOB DESCRIPTION

Basic Function:
In charge to manage the barge during all construction and installation operations.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally compliant operation of the barge.
Responsible for the entire operation and safety of the barge and the personnel on board.
Capable of effectively communicating with all personnel (office, barge, third party, etc.) involved in the daily operations.
In charge of all documentation, field engineering and operational aspects of the projects that are assigned to the barge.
Contact the client on daily basis and reports to the Offshore Installation manager. The procedures need to be followed and adhered to but he is responsible to alter in correlation with the project and or installation manager if circumstances require

Others:
He should be totally familiar with the equipment and must be able to supervise all the operations on the barge with regarding to safety, maintenance, construction and installation.

Experience:
Minimum of 10 years experience preferably in oil and gas industry.
