JOB DESCRIPTION
Basic Function: Coordinate and operate construction operations like platform installation and other subsea installation, like pipelay or manifold installation
Tasks and Responsibilities: Responsible for the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally compliant operation of day to day works on the barge. Responsible for the entire operation and safety of the barge and the personnel on board. He must be capable of effectively communicating with all personnel (office, barge, third party, etc.) involved in the daily operations. He is in charge of the welding, rigging and crane operations and will make sure all daily targets are reached in an efficient and effective way.
Others: He should be totally familiar with the equipment and must be able to supervise all the operations on the barge with regarding to safety, maintenance, construction and installation. As senior staff he must be an example for his co-workers.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience preferably in oil and gas industry.
